Sleep is just as vital to our health as breathing, eating, and drinking. It provides the time and conditions our bodies need to repair themselves and our brains to file everything away and defragment. Poor sleep is linked to an impaired immune system and therefore physical illness, plus mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
